ID Evidence API overview

View and verify the evidence of your recipient’s identity. The ID Evidence API enables Docusign customers using ID Verification (IDV) for a recipient to retrieve the data, including picture ID, used to identify the recipient during signing.

One-time resource tokens are valid for only 2 minutes, reducing the possibility of capture and misuse

Signers must consent and authorize ID Verification to start verification process - otherwise, no verification occurs and no specific PII is stored
