Android finance sample app
This sample application showcases how a fictitious financial institution can use the Docusign Android SDK to build a mobile application for their customers. You can find the source code of this sample app on GitHub - Kotlin and Java.
Using templates
The sample app includes functionality that uses Docusign eSignature templates. To use a template in your app, you must create a template in the developer account you will be using for the sample app. The template should have a single signer role.
The app demonstrates the following functionality:
- Sending an envelope (for client “Andrea Kuhn”)
- Embedded signing
- Obtaining a list of templates
- Sending an envelope using a template (for client “Tom Wood”)
- Setting recipient defaults
- Offline signing (requires switching to airplane mode)
- Syncing envelopes (requires switching to network mode) (“Pending Sync tab”)
- Authorization Code Grant authentication flow. For more information, see Authentication and login.
- Captive Signing (“New Presentation”)
- Remote envelope caching (“New Presentation > Enable Cache envelope”)
- eSignature REST API access (“New Presentation > Enable Cache envelope > Invest in Portfolio > Creates envelope via REST API”)
