Monitor your integration
The Docusign Developer Console provides a centralized experience for monitoring the health, performance, and operational status of your integrations through the API Integrations Dashboard. This dashboard combines integration management and operational telemetry into a single experience, providing visibility into API activity and integration health across environments.
The monitoring experience includes API traffic analysis, response status monitoring, and endpoint-level diagnostics. These tools help identify critical issues such as authentication failures, elevated error rates, traffic spikes, or rate-limiting activity.
How to monitor your integration keys
Monitoring begins in the Developer Console API Integrations Dashboard. To access the dashboard, sign in to the Developer Console integrations page and select an integration key from your list of applications.
You can also create and manage integration keys directly within the Developer Console. See How to create an IK and manage guest developers for additional information.
The dashboard provides detailed telemetry for individual integration keys, including traffic trends, response status distribution, and endpoint-level activity.
The dashboard includes modules that enable you to monitor request volume, track success and error rates, and identify operational issues in real time. For example, a spike in 401 Unauthorized responses may indicate authentication or token-refresh issues, while an increase in 429 responses may indicate rate-limiting activity.
For additional details about available metrics and dashboard functionality, see the API Integrations Dashboard guide.
Access and visibility
The Developer Console integration monitoring experience is currently in open beta. Access to monitoring and management functionality depends on your account history and how your integration keys were created:
- Production accounts: All production accounts automatically have access to the enhanced dashboard and monitoring features.
- Developer accounts: All developers can use the Developer Console to build and test new integrations; however, visibility into legacy integration keys may vary depending on migration status. See Migrate integrations on demo to the Developer Console for more information.
Frequently asked questions
Which existing integration keys will I see in the Developer Console?
If your account previously promoted an integration key through the legacy Apps and Keys experience, those production integration keys are automatically migrated into the Developer Console. For migrated keys, production telemetry is available automatically. Integrations on the demo environment must be migrated manually. See Migrate integrations on demo to the Developer Console for details.
Why can't I see my legacy integrations?
For accounts that have not previously promoted an integration key to production, integration keys created in the legacy Apps and Keys experience may not appear in the Developer Console during the open beta period. To ensure full visibility and access to the latest features, create new integration keys directly within the Developer Console.
How do I create a new integration key in the Developer Console?
To create a new integration key and begin building in the Developer Console, see How to create an IK and manage guest developers.
Can I still use the legacy API Dashboard?
Yes. The legacy API dashboard remains available for account-level monitoring and summaries. During the open beta period, it also includes links to the Developer Console API Integrations Dashboard for more detailed integration-level telemetry.
