Click API 101
The Docusign Click API’s elastic signing feature enables you to capture consent to standard agreement terms with a single click. Scenarios for elastic signing include terms and conditions, terms of service, terms of use, privacy policies, end-user license agreements, disclosures, and more.
Click API is designed to support elastic signing for eSignature. It enables you to create a signing experience in which you embed agreements seamlessly within your web or app pages. You can adapt the contents of your agreements for each signer using dynamic content and conditional content. See Customize elastic template fields for details.
Here’s what an example elastic template agreement looks like when it is deployed into a web page

When the user agrees to (or declines) the terms, the system records their response.
API and UI functionality
You can create, implement, preview, and implement elastic templates using either the web app or the API. For details on how to use the UI to perform common Click API tasks, see the Introduction to elastic signing.
