Sharing templates

Expanded by eSignature REST API 2.1

You can share any of your defined templates with other users, either one template at a time or (in version 2.1 of the eSignature REST API) by directly sharing a defined template folder.

You can share templates using the Accounts: updateSharedAccess method.

You can share your templates (either individually or via folders) with:

  • Individual accounts or lists of accounts, by accountId

  • Groups of users, by group name

Note: If you choose to share a template folder with one or more users, any new templates you later add to that folder will be automatically shared.

For example, if a company defined a set of templates used for real estate transactions and wanted to ensure that each of its agents had access to those templates, it could make a call similar to the following to share the folder containing those templates to each agent in the exampleAgents group simultaneously.
