Monitor a workflow

You can monitor instances of your triggered workflows by:

  • Checking the Workflow Builder UI. See Monitor a Running Workflow Instance for details.

  • Using Docusign Connect to subscribe for event updates when the status of your workflow changes. These events are only available when using the JSON SIM event message format.

    The following Docusign Connect Workflow Builder events are supported:

    • workflow-started: Published when a workflow instance is successfully triggered and execution of workflow steps begins.
    • workflow-failed: Published when a workflow step fails. The step that failed may not necessarily be mapped to a specific workflow participant.
    • workflow-completed: Published when all steps in the workflow are completed by all workflow participants.
