API vs UI-only functionality

Not all Docusign Admin UI functionality is available directly from the API. Some highly restricted Docusign Admin tasks can only be performed in the Docusign Admin UI:

  • Creating a new organization
  • Changing the name or description of an organization
  • Transferring an envelope between accounts
  • Reading audit logs
  • Adding, editing, or removing organization administrators
  • Linking or unlinking accounts with an organization
  • Managing domains and IDPs
